Pattern Making Diploma

Our method is based on a simple concept with the aim of making all types of clothing. All bases are done by hands, without using pre-made ones. From the beginning, students will have a real contact with the fabric and thus they can create different garments. At the completion of the course and after making many patterns and samples, students will be able to create everything, from a simple shirt to an elegant suit, from a skirt to a coat, from an under wear to a wedding dress. The Burgo’s method is traditional and modern at the same time which allows both tailoring and  industrial techniques, as well as the constant research of materials, which combines with the students’ creativity.

It is extremely important to have constant a contact with the teachers, it’s here that lies the Center’s competitive edge.

In addition, the student will be introduced to a brief introduction of Draping techniques and computer Pattern making using “Gerber soft ware”
